The Story
Growing up in the outdoors, I found a love for adventure — exploring, finding new places. Fishing, hunting, and camping were part of any free time we had. Later in life, that love of the outdoors took me to living and fishing the shores of SW Florida. It was there that gear kept breaking down on me. Sunglass lanyards had been around for years — functional, but none built to the quality of the sunglasses we were wearing. Technology and materials had taken sunglasses to the next level, but the lanyards protecting them hadn't kept up. So in 2016, we decided to fix that. GRAPLRZ was born.

How it's made
Every GRAPLRZ retainer is built around a patented barb-coupling system — a connection that won't slip and won't fail under load, solving a problem generic lanyards never addressed as sunglass technology moved on without them.
The Original and Adjustable lines pair industrial-grade silicone with UV-protected aircraft cable; Backcast swaps in fly-line cord built for anglers.
Everything is made in the United States. Keeping production local means every product meets a higher quality bar, and it supports the community GRAPLRZ builds in — it's not just a manufacturing detail, it's part of what the brand stands behind.
