The Craft
How it's made
Every ACTIV lens is 2.5mm High Clarity Nylon on a 7.5 optical base curve, multi-colored with an anti-reflective treatment and hard-coated for scratch resistance. Nylon runs lighter than polycarbonate while holding better depth perception and color filtration — and the lens swaps out in seconds to match changing field light.
The nose bridge is built for all-day comfort — an adjustable stainless steel cord with air-filled silicone pads for grip. Temples are High Tensile grade Grilamid with adjustable temple tips encased in stainless steel and rubber for a secure, customizable fit, available in Black or a transparent look.
Visible Light Transmission (VLT) is graduated across the lens kit: a lower VLT percentage means a darker lens for bright conditions, a higher percentage means a lighter lens for low light — swap to match the range or field in front of you. The full range spans nine tints across five colors, from 10% VLT up to 93% VLT.

The full 9-tint range — Brown 10/16/25/37/56%, Green 93%, Purple 47%, Orange 70%, Rose 54% — is available individually as replacement or add-on lenses.
